THE SPLEATS MANIFESTO

WHY

We believe people deserve real choice when it comes to food.

Today, most consumers choose from what the industry has decided is available; shaped by scale, margins, and convenience rather than by quality, integrity, or health.

We believe food should be clean. Not as a trend, but as a responsibility.

A lot of ingredients are widely accepted simply because they sell, last longer, or reduce cost, not because they are good. We believe that if an ingredient does not serve the body or the product, it does not belong in food.

We also believe good food should be largely available.
And when direct access is not possible, we believe in creating opportunities for those who are excluded, because access to clean food should never be a privilege.

SPLEATS exists to remove the barriers that stand between people and better food.

HOW

We design systems that make clean, high-quality food viable at scale.

By building shared platforms, splitting costs across producers, and removing unnecessary intermediaries, we reduce the artificial inflation that keeps good food expensive and rare.

We apply strict ingredient standards inspired by the most rigorous food philosophies, banning hundreds of additives and shortcuts that compromise integrity.

We do not add products simply because they sell. We select and enable products because they are right.

Our work happens across strategy, import, compliance, distribution, and execution, always with the same objective: simplify the system so quality can travel further, faster, and more fairly.

WHAT

SPLEATS is both a consulting and operating platform for clean, high-quality food.

We help producers enter and grow in the U.S. market by:
– Designing efficient, shared cost structures
– Enabling access while maintaining clean-label standards
– Curating food that respects both people and process
– Creating models that reinvest in access when affordability is a barrier

Through initiatives like purpose-driven food projects, we create pathways for clean food to reach those who would otherwise be excluded.

We don’t believe in food as a commodity. We believe in food as a system and systems can be redesigned.

SPLEATS exists to protect choice, elevate standards, and make good food matter beyond the shelf.
